NewReview is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that the web should be usable by all, and we work continuously to improve the accessibility of our content and interface.

Our Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

What We Do

To support accessibility on NewReview, we:

  • Use semantic HTML so screen readers and assistive technologies can interpret our pages correctly.
  • Provide descriptive alt text for images of brand logos, products, and editorial photography.
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast between text and background, in keeping with WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
  • Ensure interactive elements — coupon reveal buttons, search, navigation — are operable via keyboard.
  • Test new sections of the site for accessibility issues before publishing.
  • Avoid conveying information through color alone.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content on NewReview may not yet be fully accessible. In particular:

  • Embedded third-party content (such as Reddit, TikTok, and Instagram embeds on brand pages) may not meet the same accessibility standards as content we author directly. These platforms control their own accessibility features.
  • Some older brand reviews or coupon entries may use formatting we are gradually updating.
  • PDF documents linked from the site may not always include full accessibility tagging.

We work to address these gaps as we identify them.

Tell Us About a Barrier

If you run into an accessibility issue on NewReview — a page that doesn't read correctly with a screen reader, a button you can't reach with a keyboard, text that's hard to read, or anything else getting in the way — please let us know. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to resolve issues promptly.

Email us at support@newreview.com with:

  • The page URL where you encountered the issue
  • A description of the problem
  • The browser, operating system, and any assistive technology you were using (if comfortable sharing)

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.

Ongoing Improvement

Accessibility is not a one-time fix — it's an ongoing commitment. We review our site regularly and update this statement as we make improvements. If you have suggestions beyond reporting a specific issue, we'd love to hear them at the email above.
